Oxfam Australia first began working on disaster risk reduction (DRR) in 2004 with a project funded by AusAID, initially working with 15 villages in three provinces. With the new project in 2006 the number of target villages increased to 24. Over the five years of project implementation the team has gradually moved towards formally integrating the DRR work into the integrated community development (ICD) projects in each province. This evaluation report includes strategies to complete the integration process.(2009)
